Solution:

Follow the guide below to configure Microsoft Windows Mobile 8 to use MX Outbound for the SMTP Server.

Click on the Start Menu and select messaging

Click on the Menu in the email account you are using

Click on Functions and choose Options

Select the email account and click Next

In the section called "Server Information" enter the server address to what you have been given in your welcome email in the "Outgoing Mail" option

Enter the username and password provided.
